Process and waste water odors: pipe filters as an extension system

If unpleasant-smelling process gases interfere, pipe filters are required in the exhaust air line. Anyone who is unable to estimate operational requirements should choose an expansion system.

The manufacturer Fritzmeier Umwelttechnik with its brand coalsi uses triple hybrid filtering. Mechanical, biological and chemical elements are connected one after the other as a cascade. The “odor-eating” cell cultures from our own biotech laboratory are a special feature. The effect up to the olfactory detection limit has been confirmed. The special highlight of the system is its versatility: The pipe filters can be combined in almost any way.

This allows installation both in series and in parallel. Fan motors can also be used to increase throughput. It is generally possible to install it in an exhaust pipe or as an outlet head. Even the smallest version of the multi-chamber filter product range consists of a filter module with four elements. Up to 16 can be switched one after the other. It was said that air resistance was very low due to the diffusion-open gas exchange. The service life of the filters is around one year, and the replacement can be carried out cost-effectively on your own. This system does not require typical filter maintenance such as water or flushing. Coalsi filters are neither human, plant nor animal pathogens and are therefore harmless to health.
